Eric was my Kru and
my friend. When I
started with Mark
over 4 years ago I
trained with Eric
also. He always had
a smile on his face,
and had something
funny to say
everyday. he was
never one , not to
help out. he was
never one , not to
say what up he was
never one, not to
say ,it's all good.
Eric was part of the
bricks and mortar
that make up
Sityodtong.
He was
part of everyone's
life at Sityodtong.
When I had to take a
break in Jan for
business reasons, He
said it's all good I
get you on the flip
side bro. For all my
Sityodtong bros, I
have created a wrist
band in memory of
Eric. The colors are
the Thai flag it
reads " In Memory of
Kru Eric" "
Sawatdiikrup" I will
have them Friday for
all who wants them.
I choose the last
phrase carefully. In
Thai as we all know
it means Hello and
Goodbye.
Although we are
saying goodbye to a
good friend and
teacher , we will
all see him again.
Peace Eric I will
wait for the day I
can say "
Sawatdiikrup" again
to you my bro.
It
was Eric's Dream to
be able to give back
to the people who
gave to him. He had
always spoke of
helping support the
next generation of
young fighters at
Sityodtong Thailand
who moved him so
deeply. He had the
great experience of
witnessing their
lifestyle first hand
and would always
speak of their
difficult
childhoods. A
memorial at the camp
in Thailand is
scheduled to be
built.
Sityodtong USA is
also starting the
Kru Eric Thailand
Excursion
Scholarship. This
will provide a trip
to Thailand once a
year for Students of
lesser means. For
